Hello everyone,
A quick Friday missive from me, to ask that if you feel so inclined, you might vote for the Freelance Feels podcast in some upcoming awards…
Now then, I write this with a knot in my stomach. I HATE asking favours, or even if this isn’t a favour, just asking for help in any way (if you know me personally, you’ll know that to be true!). But I hope some of you might be happy to vote! Voting closes on Jan 11th (Monday). OK, nerves put to one side, here’s the info:
The awards are the Podcasting for Business Awards, and the category is Listener’s Choice. To enter the pod as your choice, click on the link and fill out the form. The name of the pod to enter is ‘Freelance Feels: The podcast for humans who work for themselves’. It says to enter in caps but I think the site writes it in caps for you as you input it.
This is the link to click onto: https://www.lynsayanne.com/pfbawards
You might decide to vote for a different pod, or another one as well as mine - go for it! I think you can enter as many different pods as you wish.
The awards are the brainchild of Lynsay Ann Gould, who is a coach specialising in helping people set up their first podcast. I’m hoping she’ll be a guest sometime this year as I know many of you would want to hear her advice! Here’s her insta so you can see more about her, and the awards, too:
Making a podcast is no mean feat - it’s time consuming and some of the editing can be tricky… but it’s also amazingly rewarding, and has helped my mental health to speak to other freelancers about their work and how they overcome the challenges of the freelance feels.
Winning a listeners choice award would mean the world to me, so if you think the pod is worthy, and you have time, I’d love if you’d vote.
Thank you, and see you in Feb for a newsletter all about finding your freelance passion, and the re-launch of the Freelance Feels website!
